Registered Home Manager

We are looking to recruit a registered home manager who is committed to the pursuit of high standards of patient care and can provide leadership for a 20 bedded home in Plymouth.

The home is split over 2 units. 8 beds in a nursing Bungalow where there is a staff team including Registered General Nurses (RGN) and the remaining 12 are in a House which is more a residential setting with a different staff team.

The aim to provide quality service and a safe environment for the residents who have severe and moderate learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or mental health

The candidate

  • The successful candidate will be directly accountable to CQC and must have a working knowledge of the law and regulations associated with the Registered Manager position and share the care home vision and commitment to providing a great service to the residents.
  • You will be managing a staff team of support workers as well as a team of RGN’s.
  • Level 4 or 5 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social care (required)
  • Previous experience in managing a care home (preferable)
  • Ability to supervise the work of others
